In just a few hours I'm doing the Venice-Marina Christmas Run. Last year I did the 5K race, which was rough, this year I'm doing it as a 10k - twice the distance I've ever raced before. This seemed like a good idea before I was sick twice in the past month, which pretty much killed my chances of being well trained. I'm hoping I can finish without walking more than half of it.
