Wednesday, September 22, 2004 Using mod_rewrite in htaccess files Since i've done this 100 times before, and always forget how to fix it.... When trying to use mod_rewrite features inside an htaccess file, you MUST set "AllowOverrides All" or "AllowOverrides FileInfo" in httpd.conf for the rewrite rules in the htaccess file to be executed. So now I have it written down, so next time I'm banging my head trying to see why my htaccess files aren't being read I'll have little excuse for not knowing.
